Los Angeles Lakers Scouting Report

The Los Angeles Lakers enter tonight’s game with a record of 23 wins and 55 losses.  They are eliminated from playoff contention.  This is the fourth consecutive losing season for the historic franchise and it has caused some major turnover on the roster and the front office.

Last time out, the Lakers traveled to San Antonio for a battle with Spurs.  The Lakers were heavy underdogs, but thanks to some Popovich resting, it was Los Angeles who emerged victorious 102-95 on Wednesday.  Below is a highlight video from that game to give you a glimpse at the Lakers most recent form.

Will the Lakers Keep Their Pick?

The Lakers have won two straight games and it has their fans freaking out.  The Lakers have to surrender their first-round pick if it falls outside the top three selections in this deep draft class.  We will not know for certain until after the lottery, but those two wins pushed the Lakers into the third-worst record in the NBA.  That means that if any team moves ahead of them in the lottery, the Lakers do not get their selection.

As you can imagine, the Lakers will be trying to lose tonight’s game and keep their coveted draft pick, so be on the lookout for some strange rotations and crazy decisions from the Lakers and their management.
