Injuries

Sacramento Kings

The Sacramento Kings injury report reads a little bit like a treasure map.  You are not certain what is real and what is actually going to be there when tipoff comes, but let us take a look at what Basketball Monster has for the Kings injuries tonight.

Two players are listed as out for the game and the season in Rudy Gay and Malachi Richardson.  Get well soon men.

The Sacramento Kings have five other players listed on the report that may or may not play tonight.  Arron Afflalo (back) and Anthony Tolliver (hip) are questionable for tonight’s game meaning they are 50-50 to play.  Ty Lawson, Darren Collison, and Kosta Koufos are all listed as probable after resting in the last game.

The Kings rested five players in their last game.  They only had eight players dressed and available to play in what seemed like a crazy move.  The rest plan will be in full effect tonight as well.  More on my predictions later, but be sure to check on who is resting before tonight’s tipoff.

Los Angeles Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers injury report features three players for tonight’s game.  D’Angelo Russell (knee) and Jordan Clarkson (knee) are listed as questionable according to Basketball Monster. Brandon Ingram draws the probable tag with knee soreness, as well.

The Lakers have no incentive to try to win this game, so do not be surprised if they join in on the Kings plan and rest some players for tonight’s contest.  The team has already shut down Luol Deng and Timofey Mozgov for the season to allow their young bucks to play.

Stay Alert

As I have mentioned, be sure to check twitter or watch the pregame show to get the final statuses on the plethora of injured players and to find out who is suiting up and who is resting in tonight’s game.
