Injuries

Sacramento Kings

The Sacramento Kings’ injury report is once again large and figures to only be expanded on before tipoff tonight.  According to Basketball Monster, Arron Afflalo is questionable with a personal issue and both Garrett Temple and Kosta Koufos are probable due to resting in the previous game.  I expect Temple and Koufos to play and Afflalo appears to be a toss-up as of this writing.

In case you missed it, both Rudy Gay and Malachi Richardson have been ruled out for the season, so obviously they will not play tonight.

Expect Sacramento to rest players in this contest.  I have been hit and miss at predicting who rests this season, but I know it will be a few players tonight so be sure to check out the reports as tipoff approaches.

New Orleans Pelicans

The New Orleans Pelicans are sporting three players on their injury report heading into this contest.  Both Omer Asik and Quincy Pondexter have been ruled out for the season according to Justin Verrier of ESPN.  According to Basketball Monster, Alexis Ajinca is questionable for tonight with a hip injury.

Stay Alert

As always, be sure to watch the pregame show or check twitter for the final statuses on Koufos, Afflalo, Temple, and Ajinca plus the pertinent information like who is resting for the Kings that you will want to know.
