Johnathan Motley | PF | Baylor Bears

(Friday – 7:29 EST)

Baylor’s Johnathan Motley has been playing great throughout the round of 64 and 32. In the opening round against New Mexico State, he put up 15 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 assists. He backed it up with 19 points and 10 rebounds when Baylor played against USC in the second round of the tournament.

He was a double-double machine the entire season putting up 17.2 points and 9.9 rebounds per game. Motley also shot 71% from the free throw line on 5.4 attempts per game.

At the next level, Motley has the athleticism to be a force in transition. He can also be productive in the pick-in-roll and has back-to-basket skills that make him much more than a rim running big.

He would fit in nicely with the Kings young front court. He could provide more scoring and flexibility next to Willie Cauley-Stein, Skal Labissiere, and others.
