What to Watch for Tonight
Looking for Evans
If you read last night’s game preview, I discussed Evans’ great against the Spurs and how I believe he must play a starring role if the Kings are going to be successful down the stretch.
I stand by those words and want to transfer them to tonight’s preview as Tyreke Evans will actually suit up and play tonight. Not only that but he is perhaps the freshest player on the court tonight as both teams are on the second of a back-to-back. Expect Evans to have a big night and the Kings to earn a victory against Denver tonight.
Stop the Rotation Madness
Coach Dave Joerger started another new starting five last night against the Wizards. There have been eight games since the All-Star Break and Joerger has started seven different starting lineups. The Kings have only won one game in the time period and I think it is because of the rotation chaos not in spite of it.
Coach Joerger needs to make up his mind on a starting five and a rotation and stick to it if the Kings are going win games down the stretch. Maybe, this is a stealth tanking measure, but please stop the madness Coach Joerger.
