Denver Nuggets’ Scouting Report

The Denver Nuggets enter tonight’s game with a record of 30 wins and 35 losses and still positioned in the eighth seed in the Western Conference.  The Portland Trail Blazers, Dallas Mavericks, and Minnesota Timberwolves are charging hard to overtake Denver in what should be a great race to watch down the stretch.

Yesterday, the Denver Nuggets hosted the Boston Celtics.  The Nuggets defeated the Celtics 119-99 on Friday.  Below is a highlight video to give you a glimpse at what the Nuggets looked like on the first of this back-to-back.

More Minutes for Murray?

The Denver Nuggets selected Jamal Murray out of Kentucky with the 7th overall pick in last summer’s draft.  Murray is just 20 years old, but I believe this guy might be the best player from his draft class.

Jamal Murray is nicknamed the Blue Arrow and not only is that a great nickname it is an accurate description of Murray’s talents.  I believe Murray turns into the Nuggets point guard of the future and is the catalyst of this improving young team.  I think he is three-point shot will turn out to be very effective and he is slowly learning how to run the point.

I think the Nuggets should play Murray 30 minutes a game down the stretch and allow him to prove he is the point guard of the present and future.  The only two other point guards on the roster are an aging Jameer Nelson and Emmanuel Mudiay who the Nuggets appear to have soured on.  Let Murray play and prove his talents.
