This article takes a look at the Sacramento Kings’ schedule for the week of March 6th to March 12th to give you a guide of what is ahead.

The Sacramento Kings enter the week on a four-game losing skid including zero wins and three losses last week.  The team has had a difficult time finding traction since the DeMarcus Cousins trade, but a four-game week awaits to right the ship.

Let us now move forward and take a closer look at each game in the week ahead.

Game 63 at Denver Nuggets

When- Monday, March 6th at 6:00 pm Pacific

Where- Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado

The Kings travel to Denver in the second of a back-to-back on Monday.  Sacramento lost an overtime heartbreaker to the Utah Jazz 110-109 in overtime on Sunday.  Now, they travel to Denver to play in the thin air on the second of a back-to-back that is a tough ask.

Luckily, the Kings have defeated Denver twice already this season.  On February 23rd, the Nuggets invaded the Golden 1 Center and Sacramento walked away with an 116-100 victory.  Below is a highlight video from that game to give you a glimpse at the match-up.

Game 64 at San Antonio Spurs

When- Wednesday, March 8th at 5:30 pm Pacific

Where- AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas

The Kings travel to San Antonio on Wednesday to do battle with a tough as nails Spurs team.  As of March 6th, the Spurs have the second-best record in the NBA with 48 wins and 13 losses.  Add in the fact that the Kings been handily defeated twice by the Spurs this regular season and Wednesday’s game appears not to be Sacramento’s night.  (Warning: this is the type of game the Kings have thrived in all season, so do not be surprised if they nip a win on Wednesday)

Game 65 vs Washington Wizards

When- Friday, March 10th at 7:30 pm Pacific

Where- Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California

Sacramento returns home on Friday for the first of a back-to-back set.  Friday is your chance to see John Wall, Bradley Beal, and the rest of the Washington Wizards in Sacramento.

John Wall is having a career season for the Wizards.  Wall is averaging career-highs in points, assists, steals, field goals made, and free throws made per game this season.  That goes without mentioning his improved advanced metrics.  I am looking forward to getting a good look at John Wall on Friday night against the Kings.

Game 66 vs Denver Nuggets

When- Saturday, March 11th at 7:30 pm Pacific

Where- Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California

Saturday brings back a familiar foe in the Denver Nuggets.  This time the Kings have homecourt for meeting number two of the week and four of the season.  I hope Sacramento is looking for a season series sweep of the Nuggets after Monday’s win.

The Nuggets bring in a fascinating young team to the Golden 1 Center.  I am excited to get two looks at young players like Nikola Jokic, Gary Harris, and Jamal Murray this week.

Summary

There you have it, a look at the Sacramento Kings’ schedule for the week ahead.  The week features two road contest followed by a back-to-back set at home on Friday and Saturday.

I hope this article allows you to plan ahead and enjoy some Sacramento Kings’ basketball this week.
