The Sacramento Kings host the Golden State Warriors on January 8, 2017. This article predicts the Sacramento Kings’ box score for that game.
The Sacramento Kings and the Golden 1 Center play host to the Golden State Warriors tonight. This is Sacramento’s first regular-season shot at the Warriors featuring Kevin Durant. It will be interesting to see how the Kings matchup against a very tough Dubs team.
Last time out, the Sacramento Kings played host to the LA Clippers and were defeated 106-98 on Friday. Below is a highlight video in case you missed the action.
Without further ado, below is my prediction of the Sacramento Kings’ box score for tonight’s contest against the Golden State Warriors.
Box Score Prediction
The Golden State Warriors are perhaps the NBA’s best and most efficient team this season. The Dubs rank 2nd in the NBA in pace, 4th in defensive rating, and sit atop the offensive rating leaderboard. They play fast and efficient making them a very tough nut to crack.
Friday’s game saw the much-needed return of Rudy Gay from his hip injury. Gay responded with 33 minutes, 18 points, and 7 rebounds. He looked a bit rusty, but he should be back in the swing of things tonight and ready to produce as the number two option for Sacramento. Gay will need to have a big game tonight if the Kings are going to walk away victorious.
Summary
There you have it, my prediction of the Sacramento Kings’ box score for tonight’s game against the Golden State Warriors. I should not have to tell you to tune in tonight because I think everybody knows the excitement the Warriors bring to a game, so I will just say have fun and enjoy the game.
