As players in a highly intensive league (NBA), there is a need to blow off steam after games and seeing the sights of a local city.

DeMarcus Cousins and Matt Barnes, players of the Sacramento Kings, are being sued for a brawl which broke out in a New York City nightclub on December 5th. The other party alleges it was an unprovoked attack and has a filed a lawsuit as such. The players claim it was an accidental bump in the VIP section which then led to the altercation.

Asked by Grant Napear to comment on the events, Dave Joerger, coach of the Sacramento Kings, commented that he was legally not able to speak about it and they should let this play out until they know the actual facts. The interview can be heard here (the incident is spoken about from the 1:25-2:35 mark)
