The Sacramento Kings return home to face the New Orleans Pelicans on November 8, 2016.  This article predicts the Kings’ box score for that game.

The Sacramento Kings return home after a five-game road trip to do battle against the New Orleans Pelicans tonight.  The Kings play six of their next seven games at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento.

Sacramento is favored by six points in tonight’s contest against the winless Pelicans.  New Orleans is playing the second of a back-to-back after losing to Golden State on Monday.  Factoring in that and Sacramento’s home court advantage, it makes sense the Kings are favored and should come away victorious tonight.

Without further ado, here is my projection for the Sacramento Kings’ box score for Tuesday, November 08, 2016 against the New Orleans Pelicans.

Box Score Prediction

I project the Kings for a very high 112 points scored tonight.  A lot of factors went into that including the opponent and the fact that the Pelicans are facing the second of a back-to-back.  Most importantly, Darren Collison returns tonight from his eight-game suspension.  I think he will play a big role in a Kings victory tonight.

As you can see, I projected big scoring night for DeMarcus Cousins, Rudy Gay, and Darren Collison.  The Pelicans give up the 7th most point per game to their opponents according to NBA.com/stats.  That should allow Sacramento’s big three to feast and walk away with big scoring nights.

Summary

There you have it, my projected box score for tonight’s contest against the New Orleans Pelicans.  It will be good to see the Kings back home and finally having the schedule advantage for once.  I expect the Kings to come out fired up after their big upset over Toronto on Sunday.  The home crowd should be raucous and the Kings should walk away victorious on Tuesday night.  Make sure you tune in or attend and cheer on Sacramento.
