Small Forward- Matt Barnes

Matt Barnes brings a lot of assets to this rotation.  Barnes has the motor and defensive capabilities to guard multiple positions.  He is grit and grind type player who you know what you are going to get from.  I wrote an in-depth article about Matt Barnes signing with the Kings and valuing his on-court abilities to his contract here if you care to read more about Mister Barnes.

Note: Matt Barnes sat out the first preseason game with a knee issue, which you can read more about here.  The issue is not believed to be serious and he is expected back this week, but it is something to monitor in a player who is 36 years young.
