Kings Goes Local, But Then…

At the #8 spot the Kings selected Marquese Chriss, a forward from Washington who played his high school ball in Sacramento (Pleasant Grove High School).

The Kings decided to trade Chriss however to the Phoenix Suns where in return they received Phoenix’s 13th and 28th overall draft picks, the rights for Bogdan Bogdanovic, and a second-round draft pick in 2020.
