(3) Kings First-Half Buzzer Beater: With Utah scoring with under 2 seconds left in the first half, it resulted in decimating the Kings lead to 54-45. Instead of the Kings just inbounding the pass and dribbling the ball off until time expired, point guard Rajon Rondo had other plans.

It caught Rondo’s attention that Darren Collison was leaking out to the Kings basket. Rondo then did his best Tom Brady impression where he threw the ball almost full court to hit Collison in stride, in which he successfully did.

Collison caught the ball and tried to throw up a layup to score before time expired, but unfortunately, he missed. Luckily for Sacramento, DeMarcus Cousins was hustling the down the court as well, and rebounded Collison’s missed layup and dunked the ball all in one motion just before the clock hit triple zeros, killing the momentum for the Jazz going into halftime (video here).
