6. Chris Webber’s Number Retired: When Kings fans think of the number 4, Chris Webber pops into their heads. The Kings great had a phenomenal run with Sacramento, averaging 23.5 points, 10.6 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game, earning 4 All-Star selections, and consistently leading the Kings to the playoffs in the early 2000s.
There was no question that Webber would inevitably get his #4 jersey retired, it all about when it would happen. On February of 2009 it became official that the #4 would never be worn by another King again, keeping it Webber’s number 4ever (ceremony video here).
