17. Kings Trade For Richmond: In the year of 1991, the Sacramento Kings made a trade with the Golden State Warriors, where the Kings gave up Billy Owens for Les Jepsen and Mitch Richmond.

Richmond was already a popular name before coming to Sacramento, being part of the Big 3 that existed in Golden State with Chris Mullen and Tim Hardaway. The success that Richmond had in the Bay Area continued in Sacramento as Richmond became a prolific scorer averaging 23.3 points a game in 7 seasons with the Kings.

Richmond is known still to this day as a Kings great, and taking aside Chris Webber, may be the best player the Kings organization has had since moving to Sacramento.
