I know many people believe that Okafor should start off on top but Towns has had a greater impact on both sides of the ball throughout this first handful of games this season.

Yes, Okafor leads all rookies in scoring but his production everywhere else on the court has almost been non-existent. The lack of other stats besides points per game is more of a knock on Okafor because he leads all rookies in minutes played.

Among rookies, Towns is 2nd in scoring, 1st in rebounding, and 1st in blocks. Even in his least effective game this season, Towns still tallied 4 blocks.
