Marco Belinelli

This offseason, Belinelli signed a deal that will have him playing in Sacramento for the next three years, and it might be one of the best investments the Kings have made in a while. The Kings needed shooters, and Belinelli is the closest thing to a definite to being a reliable sharpshooter.

As proof, Belinelli throughout his 7 year career has shot .392 from the perimeter, and was even named the three-point champ on All-Star Weekend of 2014.

A lot of my optimism for the Kings being a better shooting team going forward relies on Belinelli. Out of every player on the current roster, Belinelli has shown the most success and consistency as a shooter at the professional level.

He is the ideal spot up shooter that the Kings have needed for some time, and if he is able to replicate how he has played in his career so far, he will definitely boost up the team’s overall shooting numbers.
