March 11th, 2015 – Charlotte Hornets

The highest scoring contest of Ben McLemore’s sophomore season also happened to be a victory for the Kings, and another super efficient game for Little Mac. His career-high game in scoring will come next, but for now let’s focus on his beatdown of the Hornets.

The fact that McLemore managed to dump 27 points on Charlotte despite the fact that both Rudy Gay and DeMarcus Cousins played in this game is impressive, but not as impressive as his 62.5 percent shooting from the field, 75 percent shooting from three-point range and perfect performance from the free-throw line.

That efficiency is made even more impressive due to the massive scoring output Little Mac managed in this game. He only had two assists, two rebounds and one steal, but he led all scorers with 27 points, which makes up for the lack of other numbers.

McLemore also had just one turnover once again, and led the Kings to a 113-106 victory over Charlotte. This is kind of the classic Little Mac game at this point in his career–McLemore hasn’t shown a penchant for piling up rebounds or assists yet, but he has absolutely looked like an efficient scoring machine at times.
