Five Games That Show Ben McLemore’s True Potential
By Ti Windisch
February 3rd, 2015 – Golden State Warriors
I like that this game came against the eventual NBA champion Golden State Warriors–it makes McLemore’s show from long-range more impressive that he outshot Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson from three-point range this game, and made more threes than those two combined.

Although the Warriors would end up beating Sacramento by 25 points, this was still clearly a very good game from Little Mac. Posting up a statline of 18/2/2/3 (points/rebounds/assists/steals, I’ll be using the same order throughout this piece) on 67 percent field goal shooting and 80 percent three-point shooting isn’t an insane game, but it’s super efficient and definitely very good.
I also like that he only coughed the basketball up once–McLemore’s efficiency in this game was top-notch, and that’s what you want to see from a third option guy. It only took Little Mac nine shots to dump 18 points on the Warriors, a really great defensive team.
This game comes in last on the list because despite how much I like efficiency, I like lump sum scoring a bit more–it’s just impressive to watch a guy go off sometimes.
