The only road game on the list is also the first one to come up on the schedule. This game may not seem can’t-miss to some fans, but you all clearly aren’t high enough on Seth Curry and the inevitable Seth/Steph matchup that has to happen at some point.

This is the game I see it happening. I can’t imagine Seth breaking into the rotation by the first Warriors/Kings game in early November, but by late December I could see the injury-prone Rajon Rondo missing time due to either rest or injuries, which most likely leaves Curry right behind Darren Collison on the depth chart.

The Curry on Curry matchup is going to be awesome, despite ESPN and others almost certainly beating it into the ground during the lead up to it. Don’t let that spoil it, though–these two shooters both have a dynamic game, and watching them go back and forth for even a few minutes is going to be fun basketball.

If they don’t match up before this game and do happen to share the floor in this holiday season bout, I consider it a high quality game to be sure. Either way, watching the defending champions play in their arena is fun anyway, despite the Warriors having a definite edge in this contest. I’ve watched Golden State destroy my precious Milwaukee Bucks in person, and still kind of had a good time. Stephen Curry has that effect.
