Omri Casspi (2yrs/6 million): Casspi is so far the only free agent from last years roster to re-sign back with Sacramento. Last year with the Kings, Casspi was a pleasant surprise as he showed a little bit of everything. On the offensive end he showed he can be productive whether it was shooting or driving the ball in the lane, and on defense he was tenacious, and overall solid.
All in all, Casspi’s recent season with the Kings was good, but it was even better when he was playing under current coach George Karl. In terms of what Casspi brings to the table, plus the value of his contract, this signing seems to be a steal for Sacramento as they bring back a fan favorite for two more years.
