A Royal Mock Draft 2.0: Sacramento Kings target a new name

The Sacramento Kings target a new name at pick 6 in Mock Draft 2.o. Willie Cauley-Stein is a name that is garnering top 5 buzz with his recent work outs. It is his offense that seems to be impressing scouts and General Mangers a like. The Kings are likely the potential floor for Cauley-Stein.
Aside from the Kings pick, A Royal Mock Draft 2.0 features a few more names moving around this week. Their is one name however, that I don’t plan on moving and that is starting to look better as we are now inside two weeks is D’Angelo Russell to Los Angeles Lakers at number 2 overall. The Philadelphia Inquirers’ Keith Pompey is reporting, Russell has canceled his workout with the Sixers. While I’m not saying he will not be selected by a team outside the top 2, agents generally shut down work outs if they receive a promise that their player will be the pick when they come on the clock. It will be interesting to see if Russell goes back to Los Angeles or Minnesota for a visit.

1. Minnesota Timberwolves
Power Forward. Kentucky. Karl-Anthony Towns. 1. player. 86. Karl-Anthony Towns is an extremely versatile player, that is probably the best player in this draft. He has three point range, which he wasn’t able to display at Kentucky. He will be a monster at the next level. Wiggins and Towns is a scary combination going forward.
2. Los Angeles Lakers
20. Most assume this pick will be Jahlil Okafor, but I think the Lakers will be attracted to a point guard that has some Stephen Curry to his game. The center spot will be easy to fill via free agency.. Shooting Guard. Ohio State. D'Angelo Russell. 2. player
3. Philadelphia 76ers
93. The 76ers will continue to focus on the future at 3. Mudiay has tremendous upside but will need time. He can be the straw that stirs the 76ers drink.. Point Guard. China. Emmanuel Mudiay. 3. player
4. New York Knicks
Center. Duke. Jahlil Okafor. 4. player. 27. The New York Knicks get a guy they covet at number 4. Okafor can impact on the offensive end right away and form a solid offensive duo with Carmelo Anthony. The Knicks defense will remain suspect.
5. Orlando Magic
Kristaps Porzingis. 5. player. 38. The Orlando Magic need shooting in a very bad way. They have taken ball dominant guards in the past couple drafts but shooting, specifically outside shooting isn’t their strong suit. Porzingis can help space the floor and add shooting to their front court. A sneaky name to watch for Orlando is Devin Booker, arguably the best pure shooter in the draft.. Power Forward. Latvia
