Three Stars of the Night: The Boogie-Less Kings Edition
By Kareem Gantt
The Kings suffered more than a Thanksgiving hangover on Friday night. With the Kings without DeMarcus Cousins for the first time this season, the Kings showed a lot of heart, but ultimately had little punch for the much balanced, and more experienced San Antonio Spurs.

Sir Charles In Charge
But we shouldn’t hang our heads low. The Kings finished 2-2 on this arduous four-game road trip, and now head back home to open up a homestand against the Memphis Grizzlies. But before we dwell on the Kings upcoming game against the best team in the West, let’s award the three stars of the night.
One Star- Carl Landry
Landry was a workhorse against the Spurs, going for 12 points while battling the Spurs bigs for 10 rebounds. Simply put, Landry was the man among men for the Kings last night.
Two Stars- Ben McLemore
McLemore had a very efficient game against the Spurs, getting 14 points on 6-of-9 shots from the field, including going 2-for-2 from three-point land. This is the McLemore that Kings fans want to see more of as the season progress.
Three Stars- Rudy Gay
And our three stars of the night goes to Rudy Gay, who had to be the man on offense for the Kings with Cousins out of action. Gay led the Kings with 23 points, to go along with 8 rebounds and 8 assist. Simply put, he was Mr. Everything on a night the Kings needed him to be everything.
Fan Tweet of The Night:
Our fan tweet of the night comes from our very own Kings, who shated their favorite Thanksgiving recipes with us. I know it’s a little late, but maybe you could try these in your own kitchen.
