Adrienne Maloof’s Ex Husband Carries Gun Because Of “Crazy” Sacramento King Fans

Uh…

I mean, really?

Kings owner Adrienne Maloof and Paul Nassif

Paul Nassif, who is currently going through a divorce and custody battle with one of the King owners, Adrienne Maloof, has been getting grief from Adrienne and the rest of the Maloof family for carrying a gun – but no worries, he has a good reason for it. “Crazy” Sacramento King fans, as he puts it:

"Paul Nassif fired back at his estranged wife’s claims that carrying a gun puts his children in danger … stating the weapon is strictly for protection — from crazy, pissed off Sacramento Kings fans.Paul says he and his estranged wife — whose family owns the Kings — have been inundated with threats over the last year … all because they’re contemplating moving the Kings out of Sacramento."

Even when the family isn’t directly involved, they’re still embarrassing the franchise and their fans. It’s worse than a soap opera. Keep in mind, Adrienne was the one sent to represent the Kings at the NBA Lottery earlier this off-season (not a feel good story like Isaiah Thomas or stars like Tyreke Evans or DeMarcus Cousins) – this after she, in bad taste, brought the cameras from her reality show Real Housewives of Beverly Hills to the Kings’ “final game” in Sacramento at the end of the 2010-2011 season, crying as she saw the word “Kings” graffitied on a city wall. And of course, she and then husband Nassif “feared” for their safety from the King fans, playing it up when walking to their luxury box during that contest between the Lakers and Kings (for what it’s worth, the only person to “harass” them was wearing a Lakers jersey). Keep in mind, this is one of our owners….

Worse than a soap opera – seriously. All we need now is a pool boy and somebody in a coma to complete the vicious circle.
