Tyreke Evans Has Plantar Fasciitis
By Bryan Rose
Whenever I think of plantar fasciitis, I think of nuts. It’s a crazy correlation. Maybe it’s because I envision that little salty peanut man rocking the black bifocals on the front of the Planter’s peanuts tin. And that makes me hungry. Thus, combining that logic, I think it’s clearly apparent that I want to eat Tyreke’s feet.
Wait. What?
The Kings not a point guard reveled to the Sacramento Bee’s Jason Jones that he is dealing with a “mild” case of plantar fasciitis.
"“The ankle’s fine. Just a little bit of plantar fasciitis on the bottom of my foot but that’s just basketball and I play through it.”No one likes to see plantar fasciitis diagnosed as it can be a nagging injury. It will be interesting to see how Evans plays through it."
Of course, Peja’s was also a “mild” case at first and we all remember how well that worked itself out. In all seriousness though, I’m sure it is just something minor and nothing worth adding more scars to your wrists. You can hold off a few weeks until we get a “Tyreke suffers severe ankle sprain” news. When that happens, I’ll be handing out free razors to the first 20,000.
Get in line quickly for those bad boys.
