Sacramento Kings 2010-2011 Schedule Released

The NBA finally decided today was a good time to release their full blown 2010-2011 schedule which was beneficial to me, seeing as I have been cramped up, camping outside their Secaucus, New Jersey headquarters for at least two weeks now. And by camping, I mean trying to crap on David Stern’s desk. It’s a ritual, you know – like stepping on old people as Wal-Mart opens their doors on Black Friday. God, I love me some smashed bifocals. QUICK! BARBIE PLAY HOUSE IS ON SALE BITCHEZ. AND GET THAT CHEAP ASS TV TOO!

For those wanting to see the entire schedule, you may click here or wait like the good child you are. Skittles will be provided to those who don’t scream.

For those that are lazy (that includes you), I’ll give you the cliff-notes. The Kings will have three “official” national games. Two of those games will be in a hopefully sold out Arco, the first November 3rd versus the Los Angeles Lakers and the second being a January 6th tilt versus the Creamy Nuggets of Denver. The other true national broadcast will be a Thanksgiving game in Los Angeles versus the other LA team.

In addition to those three (and possibly more added down the road), the Kings will also play four games on semi-national TV, those of which will air on NBAtv, which Tom Ziller of Sactown Royalty points out.

Here is the full schedule provided by Kings.com.

It’s a pretty tame first month which will be nice. Getting Minnesota twice, New Jersey twice, the Cavs, the Raptors and the Knicks all in the first month should get the Kings off to a semi-fast start, one would hope. And if that fails to happen, well hey – just panic. It’ll be quicker that way.
