The Sacramento Kings host the Utah Jazz on March 5, 2017.  This article predicts the Sacramento Kings’ box score for that contest.

The Sacramento Kings wrap up their five-game homestand against the Utah Jazz today.  The teams have split two meetings this season.  They have a fourth tango scheduled later this month to round out the regular season series.

Last time out, the Sacramento Kings hosted the Brooklyn Nets.  In one of the most disappointing games this season, the Kings fell to Brooklyn 109-100 on Wednesday.  Below is a highlight video from that game in case you missed the action.

The Utah Jazz are a great defensive team this season.  They rank 3rd in the NBA in defensive rating and allow the fewest points per game at 96.0 a night.  Utah plays a great brand of defense this season, which is an unwelcome sign given the Kings recent offensive struggles.

Utah ranks 12th in the NBA in offensive rating and plays at the 29th fastest pace in the league.  Expect a low scoring affair tonight in Sacramento.

An Ugly Affair

This game has the potential to not be the most aesthetically pleasing affair.  I mentioned already the Jazz play great defense and Sacramento has been struggling on the offensive end of the floor since DeMarcus Cousins headed to New Orleans.  Add in the fact that both teams prefer a slow pace and this could turn into an ugly defensive war in a hurry.  You have been warned.
