This article takes a look at the Sacramento Kings schedule for the week of February 13th to February 19th to give you a guide of what is ahead.

The Sacramento Kings have just two more games before the NBA’s All-Star break.  They will be on the road both Tuesday and Wednesday before taking a week off to recharge for the stretch run.

The Kings enter the week on a three-game winning streak.  Sacramento defeated the Celtics, Hawks, and Pelicans last week.  The team has, also, won four of their last five games and is riding high heading into this short week.

Let us now take a closer look at each of the Sacramento Kings’ games this week.

Game 56 at Los Angeles Lakers

When- Tuesday, February 14th at 7:30 pm Pacific

Where- Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA

Tuesday marks the third regular season meeting with the Los Angeles Lakers this season.  The teams have split the first two meetings.  The Kings dominated the Lakers 116-92 in the most recent meeting on December 12th.  Below is a highlight video of that game to refresh your memory on the happenings.

It is worth mentioning that the Lakers have transitioned into starting their young talent and attempting to improve and mesh them as a unit.  Expect to see a heavy dose of D’Angelo Russell, Brandon Ingram, and Julius Randle on Tuesday in Los Angeles.

Game 57 at Golden State Warriors

When- Wednesday, February 15th at 7:30 pm Pacific

Where- ORACLE Arena in Oakland, CA

The Sacramento Kings face their third meeting against the Warriors this season on Wednesday.  The Kings sparked their recent run of good play in the February 4th victory over Golden State 109-106 in overtime.  That game was in Sacramento and defeating the Warriors at home is a different story.

The Warriors have only eight losses on the season and just three in Oakland, so the Kings have their work cut out for them on Wednesday.  Expect Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson to be ready and looking to exact some revenge against the Kings.

Summary

There you have it, a glimpse at what is to come this week for the Sacramento Kings.  The Kings face two difficult road challenges before the break, so let us hope that they pass those tests with flying colors.

If you are a big DeMarcus Cousins fan or just want to cheer on a King, Boogie has a little more action this week.  On Saturday, he will compete in the Taco Bell Skills Challenge as part of All-Star Weekend.  He will then suit up for the Western Conference in Sunday’s All-Star Game.  Tune in and cheer him on both nights if your schedule permits.
