Injuries

Sacramento Kings

The Sacramento Kings’ injury report is relatively unchanged from last time out.  The Kings will be without Rudy Gay (Achilles), Omri Casspi (Calf), and Garrett Temple (hamstring) tonight as all three players have been ruled out.

Ty Lawson is listed as questionable with his hamstring injury.  This does not seem like the game to test a player with a bad hammy.  The Kings play again on Wednesday night and then have off until Thursday, February 23rd because of the All-Star break, so why risk Lawson with an extended break coming?  Let him heal up completely and return to his usual role following the All-Star break.

Los Angeles Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers have three players listed as probable as of this writing.  D’Angelo Russell (Knee), Jordan Clarkson (Thumb), and Lou Williams (Ankle) are probable to play tonight meaning they have a 75% chance of suiting up.  The Lakers are more than likely at full strength for tonight’s game.

Stay Alert

As always, be sure to check twitter or watch the pregame show to get any late breaking information you will want to know before tonight’s tipoff.

It is worth mentioning that with the All-Star break so close, teams will rest players or sit them out to give nagging injuries a longer rest, so do not be surprised to see changes to the injury report before tonight’s game gets underway.
