Prediction: Sacramento Kings’ Box Score Game 39 vs Cleveland Cavaliers

The Sacramento Kings host the Cleveland Cavaliers on January 13, 2017.  This article predicts the Sacramento Kings’ box score for that game.

The Sacramento Kings and the Golden 1 Center play host to the defending NBA Champion Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday.  This is the only regular-season chance to see LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, and the rest of the Cavaliers in Sacramento.

On Tuesday, the Detroit Pistons came to Sacramento and the Kings snapped their three-game losing streak with a 100-94 victory.  Below is a highlight video from that game in case you missed the action.

Let us now have a look at my prediction of the Sacramento Kings’ box score for tonight’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Box Score Prediction

The advanced metrics for the Cleveland Cavaliers are a bit surprising this season.  Viewed by many as the best in the NBA the Cavaliers are not lighting the world on fire in any advanced metric.  They rank 15th in the NBA in pace, 14th in defensive rating, and 5th in offensive rating.

It goes without saying how difficult Cleveland’s offense can be to stop, but I will be interested to see how the Kings match-up against this title contending opponent tonight.

I will also be monitoring the shot attempts for DeMarcus Cousins tonight.  Boogie’s scoring has been down the last four games.  That is due to fewer shot attempts and some foul trouble, but it will be worth monitoring if the offense is shifting to slightly less usage for Cousins and a little more everyone else or if this is just a blip on the radar screen.

Summary

There you have it, my prediction of the Sacramento Kings’ box score for January 13, 2017.  I am excited about tonight’s contest.  Hopefully, you head out to the Golden 1 Center or tune in because it should be a great game tonight.
