Chris Webber stars in Burger King commercial (Video)

With March Madness upon us, who better to star in a college basketball commercial than Chris Webber?
Okay – actually – given Webber’s NCAA history, there are a lot of better choices but regardless, Burger King decided to use the former Sacramento Kings talent as the star of their newest advertisement.
The spot features C-Webb decked out in his Michigan Wolverines jersey (well, at least something that resembles it) blocking the television. An unhappy viewer tells the guy in the Webber jersey to sit down and he just so happens to be C-Webb.
Stupid premise? Pretty much, but regardless I’m sure Webb made some decent coin for the March Madness bit.
That said – the commercial spot is entitled ‘Watch like a King’, a play off Burger King’s namesake.
Now, if you’re going to use Chris Webber in a television commercial and you’re attempting to play off the ‘King’ name, I wonder what team would be a good choice for that.
Talk about a missed opportunity, BK.
