Maloofs Fear Sister Adrienne’s Divorce Could Eat Into Fortune, Sacramento Kings?

First off, I can’t even believe this is news and second and more importantly, I can’t even believe I’m taking time to write about it – but the Maloofs know drama, and drama knows the Maloofs.

Adrienne Maloof, who some may know from her television show The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills or as the Kings’ representative at the NBA Lottery earlier this Summer is in the process of getting a divorce from her long time husband and plastic surgeon, Dr. Paul Nassif.

While on the surface, that seems to have little to do with the Kings – apparently, it might have more to do with them than at first glance. According to RadarOnline, the Maloof brothers encouraged Adrienne to push for the divorce because they feared the longer a separation continued, the more potential there was for Nassif to eat into the Maloof fortune – which includes the Kings organization:

"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Adrienne Maloof’s brothers told her it was time to pull the plug on her ten year marriage to plastic surgeon Dr. Paul Nassif because the mogul’s siblings were concerned about a prolonged separation and believe that the doctor wants a piece of the family fortune."

The already financially strapped Maloofs certainly couldn’t take another ding to their wallet – their money already leaking faster than a rich oil spring, so it appears the Maloofs did their best to intervene in another cash draining scenario – something that seems to continually follow them around like a bad rash.
