That might be me. That might also be Jason Thompson looking for his shot. Or Paul Westphal looking for a clue. Yea. I’m going with that one. The loafers gave it away. Silly Paul…you classy fruit-tart.

Recap: Kings Versus Bobcats
Really, you had to expect this, right? After all, we are the Kings.
Garcia, who had hopes of returning slightly before or after the All-Star break will now have his return delayed after he fell on his injured wrist in practice. According to the Sacramento Bee:
Francisco García was hoping to play in about two weeks, but his return will be pushed back after he fell on his injured wrist during practice on Thursday.
“It gets sore,” García told The Sacramento Bee. “I practice good, but like yesterday (Thursday), I fell on my wrist and it’s sore now … I [...]
If the Kings ever had a shot at winning a road game, it’s tonight. According to Bleed Black And Purple, both of Utah’s stars will be MIA from tonight’s action, Boozer due to injury and Williams due to a personal matter (funeral).
Also of note? The Kings will attempt to tie their win total from all of last season, as Bleed Black And Purple mentions:
Assuming that either Kevin Martin regains his old form, or Paul Westphal yanks him from the starting lineup, the Kings should (I repeat, should) be able to top that 17-win season in the near future.
I [...]
I’ve read a lot of Kings stuff on the net, past and present, and I question if I’ve ever come across a better piece than what was written and compiled by A Royal Pain & Sactown Royalty reader Aykis16.
Aykis16 breaks down (with help from fellow individual team bloggers across the interwebz) each and every team and the possible trades the Kings could be involved in. I can’t recommend the read enough – I think it gave me a basketball boner, so stop reading this…and head over to Sactown Royalty to check it out.

Glaring omission? Jason Thompson. Hard to say it wasn’t his spot to lose, and well, he lost it.
You can find the entire rosters of both squads here.
It’s been pretty quiet in the Kingdom lately with all of the losses, well, other than the blood curtailing screams – but really – we’re used to those. The Kings finally are home tomorrow evening versus the Warriors, so, we might actually in that game….maybe…possible…*shakes Magic 8-ball again*…
Oh – and also of note, Jon Brockman took a rough spill in practice today and injured his hip. Sam Amick reported via his Twitter that Brockman had no breaks as the x-ray was clear, but, he is questionable for tomorrow evening’s game.
In other news, our local hero Chris Webber sat down with [...]
According to sources close to both franchises, the Sacramento Kings declined a trade offer from the Dallas Mavericks that would have sent fan favorite Kevin Martin to Big D.
The Mavericks fully aware of the Kings desire to trade Andres Nocioni, apparently offered up Josh Howard, Drew Gooden (Hello, again) and J.J. Berea in exchange for Kevin Martin and Andres Nocioni.
In addition to the offer from Dallas, the Sacramento Bee reports that the Cleveland Cavaliers, Houston Rockets, Toronto Raptors, and Phoenix Suns are also keeping serious tabs on Martin who I’m told the Kings have very little interest in moving, especially [...]
Become A Royal Pain Writer?
It’s a lot of work to keep up a couple blogs among the other things in life so I was wondering if there are any die-hard King readers out there that would like to help out with A Royal Pain. If so, drop me a line or leave me a comment here and I’ll get back to you
Go Kings!
Well, I’d take this opportunity to blog about the Kings and their games, but, I’m starting to run out ways to explain another loss – so I wont. Just be aware the Kings take on Mike Bibby and the Atlanta Hawks tonight at Phillips Arena, and expect another loss. On the plus side – at least Donte Greene and Jon Brockman’s hard nosed play is getting noticed. Both will get the start tonight for the purple and black – making Omri Casspi and Brad Miller Spencer Hawes the effected parties. Speaking of Omri Casspi, he and Jesus Tyreke Evans had [...]
Sacramento Kings Dating Game
I uh, I’ve been sitting here for about 10 minutes trying to think of something to say about this and……..I have yet to succeed. Give it a watch.
And yes, that’s Becca from the Kings Dance team. And no I don’t have her contact information. You’ll need to peer over her bushes like normal stalkers. Stop e-mailing.
