Quick note on Teh Jimmer, who put up 19 points last night in the Pro Player Charity Game (essentially the Utah Jazz versus a collection of NBA players).

Jimmer, despite his 19 points, wasn’t exactly thrilled with his performance but former King Ronnie Price, who guarded Fredette for the majority of the game had words of encouragement for both Jimmer and King fans:

Jazz guard Ronnie Price – a former UVU star – guarded Fredette for part of the game and said he’s confident that “Jimmer” is going be fine.

“People might not have believed me at the time, but I knew Jimmer would be a pro,” said Price, who finished the charity game with 14 points and some great slam dunks of his own. “I played with him (in Provo) when he was a sophomore in college. I went down there, and I told their coaches then what I thought. Anybody who’s that smart, with the skills he had even then, you could see it. It’s great to see him out here.”

The “Jazz” team ended up winning the game 146-124.
