California Senate President pro Tem Darrell Steinberg, along with Senator Ted Gains, will be meeting with Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson today, to work on ways to keep the Sacramento Kings in California, according to a source.

It is a closed-door meeting, not open to the public. There should be news about the outcome of their meeting on local news stations tonight.

Steinberg is expected to likely issue a press release on his website.
