Even though he is not playing for the Sacramento Kings anymore, the team’s fanbase still shows appreciation and love for DeMarcus Cousins.

Today is not a good day in the Sacramento Kings community. Although the current players on the roster are healthy and doing well in their offseason activities, a former King suffered a catastrophic injury.

Final Thoughts

Even though Cousins signed a one-year deal with the Los Angeles Lakers this summer, it did not stop some Kings fans from loving their former star. It is a shame to hear the recent news on Cousins. The man is currently in the prime of his career but multiple serious have prevented him from taking off.

Hopefully, Cousins can fully recover and bounce back in a way that very few players do with a similar injury history.

With the Kings, Cousins was an absolute monster for their interior. In the 6 1/2 seasons he rocked the purple and white, he averaged around 21 points, 11 rebounds, and three assists per game.
