With the NBA Draft happening in less than ten days, which guards should the Sacramento Kings consider when they are on the clock in the second round?

With the NBA Draft happening in under ten days, the Sacramento Kings approach their first important step of the offseason.

For the Kings, it was quite the 2018-2019 season as the purple and white were able to surprise the NBA world with their play. A team that was projected to win around 20-30 games this year ended up with a record of 39-43 which put them just one spot outside of competing in the postseason.

Now that the Kings are back to being relevant, the expectations have risen for next season. It was a pleasant surprise for the Kings community to see their team almost make the playoffs this year, but next season, it would be a surprise to them if they did not.

With the roster that the Kings currently have, their chances of making the playoffs are nowhere near guaranteed. They must improve their personnel in order to give themselves a good chance of achieving their goal. The first step to bolstering their roster is the upcoming draft in which Vlade Divac has three second-round picks in the event.

Right now, it is unknown what Vlade does with those picks. Does he end up trading some of them to move up in the draft order or stays put with the three? If Vlade decides to stay with his three picks, I believe there will be three guards available for the Kings to select that could end up becoming good assets for them down the road.

With that said, enjoy this slideshow which will showcase the three guards that I think the Kings should select when they are on the clock in the second round.
