The NBA Draft is happening on June 22.  Today, we will take a look at the complete draft order of all 60 selections following the Hawks and Hornets trade.

Well, we only made it about two hours before another trade came down the shoot. The Atlanta Hawks send Dwight Howard and pick 31 overall to Charlotte for Miles Plumlee, former King Marco Belinelli, and selection 41 overall.

Oh, how the mighty have fallen.  Dwight Howard once regarded as the best center in the NBA needed a favorable pick swapped added on to net the Hawks two limited rotation players.  A surprising trade to say the least, but a good move for Charlotte. Their starting five of Kemba Walker, Nic Batum, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Marvin Williams, and Howard looks formidable.  The question is can Howard stay healthy and productive for the long season?

The Atlanta Hawks were happy to dump Howard’s salary and unhappiness for a few rotation players.  I think this move probably signals the end of Paul Millsap in Atlanta and the Hawks heading for a rebuild.  Millsap’s free agency is the next big domino for the Hawks franchise so stay tuned on that.

Without Further ado, let us get down to the full updated draft order for June 22.

Final Thoughts

I figured I would add some pertinent information you might want to know here in the closing paragraphs.  The Philadelphia 76ers have the most selections in the draft with five (including the number one overall selection after the trade) and four teams currently do not have a pick.  Those four teams are the Memphis Grizzlies, Cleveland Cavaliers, LA Clippers, and Golden State Warriors.  The Sacramento Kings have three choices this season.  The Kings’ current selections are five, ten, and 34 overall.
