The Sacramento Kings travel to take on the New Orleans Pelicans on March 31, 2017.  This article provides a preview of that game from a Kings’ perspective.

The Sacramento Kings head to the Big Easy for a battle against the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday.   This game figures to be one of the most talked about games of the season.

This is the third and final meeting between the two teams this regular season.  The Kings have defeated the Pelicans in both of the previous matchups.  In the most recent game, Sacramento hosted the Pelicans and walked away with a 105-99 victory on February 12.  Below is a highlight video from that game to give you a glimpse at the matchup.

The big storyline in this game is DeMarcus Cousins facing his former team for the first time.  There were a lot of mixed reactions to the trade, but I was personally sad to see Cousins go.  The Kings may not have been winning a ton of game with the big man, but his on-court play was a joy to watch and I believe he was overall good for the Sacramento community.  There will be more discussed on this topic later in the piece, so stay tuned for that.

Without further ado, let us move forward to everything you need to know about this contest between the Sacramento Kings and the New Orleans Pelicans.
