The Sacramento Kings extended their winning streak to two games tonight as they defeated the Phoenix Suns by a score of 107-101. Listed down below are the highs and lows of tonight’s game pertaining to the Kings.

HIGHS

Skal Labissiere: Another game, another reason to love Skal Labissiere. At only the age of 20, Labissiere took the game over as he was the best player for Sacramento in tonight’s game. For the night, Labissiere recorded 32 points and 11 rebounds off 11-15 shooting from the court. Skal continues to showcase his worth which has generated a lot of optimism within the Sacramento Kings community.

Willie Cauley-Stein: Willie Cauley-Stein had himself a well-balanced game tonight as he recorded 14 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 blocks. Usually known as a defender that scores mostly off hustle points, Cauley-Stein was able to do a little bit of everything tonight which helped his team get the victory.

Defending Booker: The Kings did a great job in defending Devin Booker tonight. Although Booker scored 19 points for the night, he had to take 26 shot attempts to do it. As a result, it caused the Phoenix offense to struggle throughout the entire night.

LOWS

Turnovers: The turnover woes continue for the Sacramento Kings as they lost the ball a total of 18 times tonight. It’s expected that the Kings will have trouble taking care of the ball due to the team’s revamping of the roster, but little improvement has been shown since the All-Star break concluded. Turnovers remain to be the main issue for the Kings on offense and it will continue to prevent the offense for the Kings to be electric unless they can turn it around.

Tyreke Evans: Tyreke struggled to find his offensive rhythm in tonight’s game. For the night, Evans recorded a goose egg in the points category as he shot 0-4 from the floor. As a result, there were times throughout the game where offensive possessions were wasted due to Tyreke trying to force his way into the scoring column. Hopefully, Tyreke can get back to his old efficient self when the Kings play next time.

T.J. Warren: T.J. Warren had a very effective game tonight as he gave the Kings’ defense fits. For the game, Warren recorded 24 points and 9 rebounds while shooting 12-16 from the court. Warren was the main contributor for the Suns tonight on offense and was the reason why his team remained competitive throughout the game.
