This article takes a look at the Sacramento Kings schedule for the post All-Star period of February 23rd to February 26th to give you a guide of what is ahead.

With the All-Star Break in the rearview mirror, the Sacramento Kings return to basketball tonight (February 23rd) with a much different looking team.  Gone are players like All-Star DeMarcus Cousins, Omri Casspi, and Matt Barnes.  New faces will be hitting the court for the first time tonight.  Plus, Tyreke Evans returns for his second stint in Sacramento.  There has been a great deal of turnover and may even be more before Thursday’s trade deadline.  Stay tuned to see what transpires.

This short week only features two games but it should give us a good look at the new rotation and how the Kings are going to play the remainder of the season.

Let us now take a closer look at each of the Sacramento Kings’ games this extended weekend.

Game 58 vs Denver Nuggets

When- Thursday, February 23rd at 7:30 pm Pacific

Where- Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, CA

The Sacramento Kings will get their fill of the Denver Nuggets over the next few weeks.  The two teams match-up in three of the next nine Sacramento Kings’ games.  That is a weird scheduling quirk, but it should allow us some good face time against the surprise playoff contender.

The teams already met this calendar year.  On January 3rd, the Kings traveled to Denver and defeated the Nuggets 120-113.  Below is a highlight video from that game to refresh your memory on the happenings.

Game 59 vs Charlotte Hornets

When- Saturday, February 25th at 2:00 pm Pacific

Where- Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, CA

Saturday’s game provides the national television audience its first look at the new Sacramento Kings.  The game is featured on NBA TV on Saturday afternoon.  There should be plenty of chatter about the trade (or trades if more moves are made before the deadline) and how the Kings are shaping up in its aftermath.

Summary

There you have it, a look at the two games for the Sacramento Kings in this first post All-Star week.  It should be an exciting week as most fans have no idea what the rotation is going to look like and how new players like Buddy Hield will perform in Sacramento.

Tune in and enjoy the Kings two games this week and try to learn as much information as you can about the new players.   It will be interesting, to say the least.
