The Sacramento Kings take on the Golden State Warriors on February 4, 2017, in Sacramento.  This article predicts the Sacramento Kings’ box score for that game.

The Sacramento Kings play the second game of their current six-game home stand tonight against the Golden State Warriors.  This is the second meeting with the Warriors this regular season.  Golden State defeated the Kings 117-106 on January 8th.

Last night, the Kings opened their homestand against the Phoenix Suns.  Despite a slow start, the Suns defeated the Kings 105-103 in a see-saw affair.  Below is a highlight video from that game in case you missed the action.

Without further ado, let us move on to tonight’s box score prediction of the Sacramento Kings for their contest against the Golden State Warriors.

Box Score Prediction

The Golden State Warriors are a historically good team this season.  They have the NBA’s best record at an outstanding 43 wins and 7 losses.  They rank 1st in both offensive rating and defensive rating which is just astonishing.  Those metrics states that they are the best team in the NBA this regular season on both ends of the floor.  Add in the fact that they play at the league’s 2nd fastest pace and top the league in true shooting percentage and this Warriors team is not the club you want to see next on your schedule.

For the first time all season, I predicted a blowout in tonight’s game and that every healthy Kings’ player will see the court.  The deck just seems stacked against the Kings tonight.  It is the second of a back-to-back and the NBA’s best team is coming to town with a day of rest.  That doesn’t even mention the Warriors handling the Kings relatively easily in the first meeting.  I hope they prove me wrong, but it does not look good the Kings tonight.

Summary

There you have it, my prediction of the Sacramento Kings’ box score for this game.  This contest is worth watching just to see this Warriors unit with your own eyes.  They are crazy good and riding a five-game winning streak including two straight blowouts.  Here is to hoping the Kings can end that streak tonight.
