Sacramento Kings To Host Pre-Draft Workout (2nd Edition)

The Sacramento Kings recently had their first pre-draft workout last Thursday, and again they will host another workout today with 6 different players.

This list of 6 includes Venky Jois (Eastern Washington), Nick Faust (Long Beach State), Mamadou Ndiaye (UC Irvine), Mike Tobey (Virginia), Codi Miller-McIntyre (Wake Forest), and Anthony Beane (Southern Illinois).

Venky Jois

For Jois, the 6’8 forward spent 4 seasons with the Eastern Washington Eagles. During that tenure, he averaged 14.8 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 2 blocks, and 1 steal per game. He also shot an overall field goal percentage of 58.3% from the court as well

In his most recent season with the Eagles, Jois finished the year averaging 16.4 points, 8.7 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.8 blocks, and 1 steal per game.

Nick Faust

For Faust, the 6’6 guard also played four seasons of college basketball both with the Maryland Terrapins and most recently with the Long Beach State 49ers. In his recent season with the 49ers, Faust finished the year averaging 17.4 points and 6.1 rebounds per game. He also shot 43.6% from the court overall and 36.6% from the perimeter.

In his total collegiate career, Faust averaged 11.3 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game. He also finished making 40.5% of his total shot on hardwood, 33.4% from the three-point line, and 68.6% from the free-throw stripe.

Mamadou Ndiaye

Standing at 7’6 and weighing 300 pounds, Mamadou Ndiaye is the human epitome of a California Redwood. In his three seasons with the UC Irvine Anteaters, Ndiaye averaged 10.2 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks per game.

In his final season with the Anteaters this year, Ndiaye averaged 12.1 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 2.4 blocks per game. Fun fact: Mamadou is a relative of Hamady Ndiaye, a former Sacramento King.

Mike Tobey

For Tobey, the 6’11 forward he spent four seasons with the Virginia Cavaliers. In his most recent season with the Cavaliers, Tobey averaged 7.3 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 0.6 blocks per game. He also recorded a FG% of 60.1%.

In his total collegiate career, Tobey averaged 6.8 points, 4 rebounds, and 0.7 blocks per games on shooting 53.1% from the floor.

Codi Miller-McIntyre

For Miller-McIntyre, the 6’3 guard finished his most recent with Wake Forest averaging 9.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 4 assists per game. He also shot 41.3% from the court overall and 32.6% from the perimeter.

In total tenure with the Demon Deacons (4 seasons), Miller-McIntyre averaged 11.4 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game. He also made 43.1% of his total shots attempted and 27.8% of his shots from the three-point line as well.

Anthony Beane

Finally we Anthony Beane who spent his last four years playing for the Southern Illinois Salukis. During his tenure with the Salukis, Beane averaged 14.9 points on shooting 43.4% from the floor and 35.9% from the perimeter.

To finished his most recent season, the 6’2 guard averaged 19.3 points per game on shooting 43.2% from the court and 37.1% from the three-point line.
