While we don’t know exactly where the Sacramento Kings will pick come the 2014 NBA Draft, we have a general idea of the players who’ll be available come their yet to be named selection which will be determined at the upcoming NBA Draft lottery.
Knowing that, the Kings have decided to let the fans help in their effort to find the newest member of the Kingdom by running a crowdsourcing effort with their ‘Draft 3.0′ challenge.
A mildly detailed form is available on Kings.com where fans are to answer a handful of questions and pick potential draftees which will then be submitted to the team. If the Kings feel the responses are worthwhile, up to two potential candidates could receive an invitation to join general manager Pete D’Alessando, owner Vivek Ranadivé and the rest of the Kings basketball operations in the team Draft Room on June 26.
Pretty sweet, right? While we’ve seen teams ask fans who’d they’d prefer to draft in a general sense, we’ve never seen anything that involved fans potential being involved in the Draft Room.
