Kings owner Vivek Ranadive says 'no tolerance' for Donald Sterling comments

There are few owners (possibly none) with a worse reputation than that of Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling – and this was before the alleged comments leaked from TMZ this past weekend.

Known for making questionable decision after questionable decision, Sterling has found himself in boiling hot water and not only does he not having the backing of his players, fellow owners aren’t supporting him either (understandably).

A relatively tight knit group, multiple NBA owners spoke out on Sterling this weekend including Kings owner Vivek Ranadive who tweeted that there is no tolerance for such comments.

If @TMZ recording is true, we must have zero tolerance. Fully support commish Silver @NBA.

Ranadive did throw some support behind the Clippers organization however, suggesting they have handled it as well as they could given the circumstances:

“I thought the Clippers handled it in a very classy fashion. There have been incidents in history where athletes like Jesse Owens have had to play under difficult circumstances. So I applaud the Clippers players for showing up and showing their protest and then going ahead with the game,” said Sacramento King’s owner, Vivek Ranadive.
