Forward Royce White will not travel with the Sacramento Kings on their upcoming three-game road trip, but it has nothing to do with anxiety issues that haunted the young talent during his first season in the NBA.
White’s ten-day contract with the Kings has expired and the team has yet to decide if he will be retained for the remainder of the season, which has left him currently void of any contract. Because of that, he will not travel with Sacramento as they take on the Oklahoma City Thunder, Dallas Mavericks and New Orleans Pelicans.

Despite the oddity, that doesn’t mean the Kings aren’t open to re-signing White. General manager Pete D’Alessandro is currently in New York and plans to discuss White’s future with the Kings when he returns.
The former first round pick has only played in three games with the Kings, two of which he didn’t even log a minutes worth of action. He’s taken one (missed) field goal attempt during his three game stint with Sacramento.
