Sacramento Kings waive center Hamady Ndiaye

The Sacramento Kings announced a roster move today, amidst rumors that they’re involved in trade talks with multiple teams though it should be noted – the move was not due to a particular trade.

Early Monday, it was announced the Kings had waived center Hamady Ndiaye – a move that will now give them two open spaces on the roster.

Ndiaye, who was signed prior to the season, actually appeared in fourteen games for the Kings though only managed an average of five minutes – often during garbage time.

The addition of Aaron Gray, who was acquired in the Rudy Gay trade made Ndiaye expendable.
