DeMarcus Cousins feeds families, dresses as Santa in REALDMC Episode 3

Few players have a reputation like DeMarcus Cousins – a reputation he doesn’t deserve.

Cousins has had his questionable moments on the floor in terms of emotion – yes – but outside of that, he’s been a model citizen. He’s never in the news for the wrong reasons, so most who have a problem with the former Kentucky Wildcat do so out of ignorance.

Those who experience Boogie Cousins’ giving ways on a day-to-day basis and see the big man going out of his way for local children know the true Cousins, the caring, gentle giant that he is.

For years, Cousins has quietly made his way through local Sacramento stores being a secret Santa. They were never announced trips. Most times, cameras weren’t following. It was just Cousins being Cousins. And that was just during the holidays. The former Wildcat often spends time off at local hospitals and charities – not trips scheduled by the team – just on his own accord. And what about the unannounced donations to victims of natural disasters? The list goes on and on, so Cousins’ recent display of kindness in episode three of his #REALDMC special shouldn’t be all that shocking:

Way to make Sacramento proud, Big Cuz.
