For those outside the Sacramento area who are without League Pass, you look forward to ‘nationally’ broadcast Kings games as if they’re an annual holiday.

Games on a ‘national’ scale are few and far between, so when NBA TV picks up a Sacramento game, it’s usually met with great fanfare in the Kingdom.

That was the case when the channel decided to broadcast Friday’s Lakers-Kings game, but after Kobe Bryant announced he would not be playing Friday night, the channel decided to drop the game.

Per Sean Cunningham:

NBA TV has now dropped tomorrow night’s Kings vs. #Lakers game in Sacramento. That was quick. #NBAKings

Pretty disappointing for those hoping to catch the broadcast, not living in the regional market.
