Sacramento Kings game pulled from NBA TV broadcast

For those outside the Sacramento area who are without League Pass, you look forward to ‘nationally’ broadcast Kings games as if they’re an annual holiday.

Games on a ‘national’ scale are few and far between, so when NBA TV picks up a Sacramento game, it’s usually met with great fanfare in the Kingdom.

That was the case when the channel decided to broadcast Friday’s Lakers-Kings game, but after Kobe Bryant announced he would not be playing Friday night, the channel decided to drop the game.

Per Sean Cunningham:

NBA TV has now dropped tomorrow night’s Kings vs. #Lakers game in Sacramento. That was quick. #NBAKings

Pretty disappointing for those hoping to catch the broadcast, not living in the regional market.
