If you happened to attend the Long Live the Kings (#LLTK) rally back in late May, you’ll likely recall the very large banner hanging on a wall that fans were able to sign. The Kings made that option available again to those who weren’t present at the rally and now plan to forever immortalize the fan signed banners in the rafters of Sleep Train Arena.

Sacramento Kings President and COO Chris Granger announced the news on Twitter this morning:

Will be raising this and the LLTK banner to the rafters. #ForeverPurple#ForeverSacramentopic.twitter.com/kC40j2pOOE

The Kings had mentioned prior to this that they planned to add the banner(s) to the rafters, but now we have official confirmation from Granger.

It’s a fantastic way for the team to show support to the fans who gave countless hours of their lives to keep the Kings where they belong.

It’s also a great reminder of the victory Kings fans were able to accomplish, of course with assistance of Vivek Ranadaive, Mark Mastrov and the rest of the amazing ownership group.
